Welcome to Upheads!

WeSafe is now part of the Norwegian IT partner Upheads and will change its name to Upheads. The merger gives customers a wider range of services and a stronger supply of skills.

- "Welcoming WeSafe to Upheads is like the best of both worlds coming together," says Bjørg Tomlin, President of Norway and CEO.

During the fall, we have reported that Upheads has acquired WeSafe as part of its Nordic growth journey.

"It feels great and right because we have so much in common in our corporate cultures. We want to talk understandably with customers and focus on what technology can do for them. In Norway we say 'IT with meaning' and I feel that WeSafe really stands for that too. It's about understanding the customer's needs and goals and helping with solutions that really contribute to their business."

But even though the company is growing, no customer should feel that Upheads has become too big for them.

- Together we are a strong group with local customers and local adaptation. This gives customers both the security of a large organization and the personality of a small one.

Personal but not person-related

The personal contact is another important aspect that customers will recognize. The company has the same people on site in Malmö and the surrounding area and the same contact persons who now also have the entire Uphead's joint competence behind them.

- The Swedish organization with the WeSafe founders Peter, Per and Martin in the management team will continue to shape the operations in Sweden, and we will keep the personal contacts without becoming too personally bound. Now that we are growing, the entire company will have more expertise that is spread and shared between the countries, which of course helps our customers.

More solutions and skills

WeSafe has long had cutting-edge expertise in the cloud and is now broadening its range of services and solutions to the growing small and medium-sized companies that remain Uphead's focus.

"I feel that the most important thing for customers is that the IT partner has the right skills. So the match is perfect when the Swedish expertise in the cloud can be supplemented with more expertise in networks, data centers, PC as a service and other things that an SME may need to develop its business."

- Bjørg Tomlin, Managing Director in Norway and Group CEO

Bjørg also sees other benefits from the merger. The company has already set up joint teams across countries to learn from each other and share experiences in all areas. With a larger workforce, customers can benefit from more skills and experience.

- In addition, the supply of skills becomes easier if, for example, someone is on leave, so you as a customer are simply less dependent on just the right people working when you need help.

Common strengths provide even better quality

The joining of Upheads and WeSafe with different IT competencies allows both parts to utilize each other's strengths, which ultimately become the strengths of the customers.

- We want our customers to appreciate our high level of expertise, that we understand what they need and that we follow up properly," says Bjørg.

But it is not only about broadening the range of services and developing more solutions. Meaningful IT is just as much about quality and service.

- We aim for even more quality in more areas and to give our customers the security in IT delivery that we know is in demand. Therefore, we are also looking at establishing a Nordic SOC at the same time as ISO certification for extra security and quality," Bjørg concludes.
