As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in our ongoing growth journey. You will be responsible for developing and managing a high-potential client portfolio, with a focus on building long-term relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring that our clients receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.

About the roles

As an Account Manager with us, you’ll work closely with both clients and internal teams to foster structure, continuity, and growth in our client relationships. The role involves building strong partnerships over time and ensuring that clients receive the right support, follow-up, and solutions based on their needs.

You will be responsible for your own client portfolio, maintaining regular communication, monitoring client progress, and helping them get the most out of their partnership with Upheads.

Another key part of the role is identifying new business opportunities within our existing customer base. You’ll work closely with our technicians, team leads, and other parts of the sales organization to help our customers grow alongside us.

The role focuses primarily on existing customers and customer development, but also offers the opportunity to contribute to new customer engagements and business development over time.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you’ll have a varied day-to-day where relationships, business development, and customer experience take center stage. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for your clients and work proactively to build long-term partnerships, identify new opportunities, and ensure that clients receive the right support throughout their entire customer journey.

Among other things, you will:

• Manage and develop an existing client portfolio

• Hold regular client meetings via Teams, by phone, and in person

• Identify opportunities for upselling and further development

• Ensure high customer satisfaction through close and proactive follow-up

• Work closely with engineers and team leads in customer interactions

• Handle customer challenges in a professional and solution-oriented manner

• Help develop our customer development program

• Plan and execute customer activities and events

• Experience in customer relations, account management, or sales

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to build relationships and foster trust over time

• Experience working proactively on customer follow-up and development

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple conversations at the same time

Experience in the IT industry is a plus, but what matters most to us is your drive, your business acumen, and your ability to build strong customer relationships.
