It has already been possible to see security and compliance scores(Secure Score) in the Microsoft 365 administration center. The next step has been to let the user and the organization take part in Productivity Score.

The goal of anyone moving their business to the cloud should be to increase productivity. Until now, there have not been very good follow-up possibilities or a basis for evaluating the level of productivity. Now the feature is available and built into the Microsoft platform.

Measuring productivity

Productivity is an important key performance indicator and refers to measuring performance in relation to the consumption of resources required for that performance. One way to measure productivity is thehe ability to manage limited resources, which can be measured as outflow divided by inflow. An example of a productivity measure would be the number of products produced divided by the number of hours it took. High productivity gives the company a high level of competitiveness which can lead to a high profit.

The same goes for working in Microsoft 365. It is important to put minimum time to get the best possible results. It is better to do the right things and use the most convenient features instead. for that working on the wrong things and wasting time on things that do not lead to progress.

Microsoft gathers a wealth of experience

The built-in productivity dashboard is located in the Administration Center. There, anyone can create their own overview of how the organization's Productivity Score looks like. Microsoft bases the scoring on how millions of companies around the world work in the same system.

How to use communication tools such as mail and chat in Teams? How does works cooperation between members of the organization and external contacts? How do the mobile devices work in the organization?

Productivity is measured in a large number of parameters and the score is based on data that Microsoft has collected with the help of AI from other organizations and the real data recorded in your license that has seen how you work. This is analyzed and compared in your score and based on this you get advice on how you can change your work to achieve higher scores in the future. All this is built in and available in a report in the Office 365 admin center.

Do it yourself - or let WeSafe help.

But if everything is there, just to download, there's no need for an external partner to help? The answer is simple: No, you don't need help if you have the time, knowledge and the will to do it yourself. You can access your own reports and recommendations already today.

However, we at WeSafe can can help take the analysis to another level. Our work with hundreds of other customers gives us the the opportunity to compareyour productivity scores with organizations that are active here, in the Nordics, and work in the same way as you do. Microsoft's data includes more companies, but many of them have their operations in other markets, which makes the the comparison is not as relevant. We also also take more account of your specific business and can help identify your challenges or pains. pains to put the right measures in the right place.

Another advantage is that our experts have extensive experience in interpreting and producing analyses and reports. This saves time and money compared to assigning staff to do the same job. Productivity Score consists of user- and technology analysis which answers how effective working tools used but also how fast, for example, the network is for users. and how the high quality of the video meetingsWeSafe looks at user behaviour but also at how technology supports users..
