Telephony in Microsoft Teams increases productivity

All businesses have an ambition to be as productive as possible. But far from all of them ensure that the conditions for this are in place. Many even have the conditions available, but still continue to use old ways of working. Either because they are not aware of the possibilities, or out of fear that new ways of working will be difficult to implement. At WeSafe, we want to make it easy for you to increase the productivity of your business, which is why we have developed a completely new telephony solution in collaboration with Cellip.

Telephony at the heart of the Teams collaboration platform

One of the main arguments for moving telephony to Teams is that you can easily log in in the morning and use the same view and login for all your office work. You get a clear view of all your contacts and can choose how you want to interact with them: video meeting, chat or, if the person is on the go, send an SMS or make a call on their cell phone. In this way, consolidating all your collaboration and communication into one system - with the same username and password - is an easy way to avoid hassle and get more out of your working day.

Another benefit of telephony in Teams is that it's easier to know in advance whether your contact can actually answer your call - for internal calls, for example, you can see whether the person is busy or not directly on the screen. It's also easy to get information about your contacts, which is especially important in larger companies where you may not always be able to keep track of all employees. You can quickly get information about the person's role, where he or she belongs in the company, etc. organizational chartThe information is also kept up to date, as it goes beyond the basic information contained in a standard telephone directory. For new employees, who would otherwise have to ask around to find the right contacts, this is a great help.

85% of Swedish companies can't have made the wrong bet

85% of Swedish companies currently use the cloud service Office 365 and thus also have access to Teams. Thus, Office and Teams constitute a standard platform that most companies can already use, and that more and more will use more and more.

The great thing about using a standardized, global service is that you can rest assured that the technology you use will always be at the cutting edge and that any disruptions will always be resolved quickly. And because Microsoft also ensures automatic updates, you don't have to monitor another system for this purpose and can focus on your "real" work.

The question is why you wouldn't use Teams for all your communication - including telephony?
